Xerpeutic Fitness Bike - Unboxing

I recently purchased the Xerpeutic Fitness Bike because I wanted a different cardio option. I'll always be a runner but winter runs are not my favorite thing to do. This bike was the perfect solution. It's compact, it was easy to assemble and the price was perfect.

Goals vs Vision

Twelve years ago I published a novel called Raymond’s Daughters. It’s a work of fiction inspired by true events that is available on my online store today. When I wrote the book all I wanted was for one person that I did not know to read it and say that they liked it. My best friend purchased several copies and gave them away as gifts and one of the recipients (that I didn’t know) told him that they really enjoyed it. Goal accomplished. I should have dreamt bigger. Admittedly, I wrote the book for myself. I was going through a divorce and I needed an outlet to keep myself occupied and through that experience my novel was born. Some of the most beautiful things are the result of survivi

On a Diet? Prepare for Failure

So at the beginning of the year you decided that you were going to lose weight and get in shape. Your first step to accomplish this was to go on a diet. When I hear the word “diet” my mind brings me back to the days of the Cabbage Soup Diet or the plan where you have a shake for breakfast and lunch and then eat a sensible dinner. I think Special K has a diet out where you replace two meals with a bowl of Special K (or other Special K product) and the third meal is what you would normally eat. I have a friend who has decided to eat only fruits and vegetables for 21 days. I didn’t ask what happens after that. I have another friend who chooses to cut out ALL carbs. Really? Here’s the probl

The overnight oats seemed appealing to me for a few reasons: (1) alternative to regular oat
