I’m very idealistic and I have a black and white view of life. I know there are gray areas but more times than not I choose not to see them. This is how I view most things in my life especially when it comes to health and fitness. I believe that preventing problems is much easier than fixing problems. Specifically, things like heart disease, diabetes, being overweight, etc. No shade, but I don’t understand when people say, “I woke up one day and I was 40 pounds overweight.” Wait, what? When I started my fitness journey it was because I was tired of the way that I looked, and I knew that what I was doing wasn’t working. What was I doing? Cardio. I don’t remember when I decided that I enjoyed traveling. Actually, let me rephrase. I enjoy being in other places, I do not necessarily enjoy the act of going to other places. Especially if it involves air travel. I’m not afraid to fly I just don’t like the unpredictability of flying. Flights are delayed and cancelled for any reason under the sun and the traveler is at the mercy of the airline. I hate that. Air travel has taught me to be patient and accepting of the unpredictable. Not only am I into fitness but I actually quit my "good" full time, good paying job in 2015 in order to pursue a career in fitness. That's how much into fitness I am. I have since gone back to work (cause ... you know, money) however, I still work a part time job in fitness. I know the ins and outs of the fitness world. I know how to lose weight.
