Where do I begin?
I’ve been blogging for more than 10 years and have over 1,100 posts HERE
So, why after all this time have I decided to move the blog to this platform? It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been looking for my voice. I know I have something to say and I’ve been trying to say it in many ways. I’ve tried it as an author of fiction and non-fiction. I’ve tried it as a fitness specialist and health coach. I’ve tried it as a food blogger and restaurant reviewer. Over the years, I’ve had my hand in just about everything, searching for my voice. Succeed or fail, I will always try. I’m not afraid to try and that is one thing – of many – that I love about me.
I’m going to use this platform to document the exploration and enjoyment of my life.
Here’s what you can expect:
I have a granddaughter coming in December so there will be plenty about her and what I’m doing to prepare for her arrival and all the wonderful-ness that goes along with being a first-time grandmother.
I’ll be 54 this year. I have no hang ups about my age because I know that I’m awesome no matter how old I am. I’m athletic and while some people think that’s amazing at my age … I just think it’s normal. So, my workouts will probably make appearances here as well.
I enjoy traveling and will be going on a trip for my birthday this year so stay tuned for that.
I love food and wine and I’ll be posting food and wine recommendations … mostly wine. 😊
I am in a relationship and I don’t normally publicize that, but he is part of my life. So, you may get a post about that from time to time.
When I was a younger woman I didn’t value life and living as much as I do now. I took a lot of things for granted. I realize that I may have more years behind me than in front of me and I also realize that I still have so much that I have to do. I am so immensely grateful for my life and I refuse to allow one single day to go by without expressing that gratitude.
I hope you will stay and enjoy this journey with me. Share it with your friends. My hope is that it will inspire someone to look at their own life differently; to take advantage of moments; to appreciate the people in their lives; to just live life unapologetically.
